This widget supports AQI data from IQAir.com and, if desired, AirNow.gov (specific to the USA). Both platforms provide complimentary accounts and API capabilities for individual usage. Irrespective of the location, Breathable employs the United States Air Quality Index for all metrics on a global scale.

The AQI readings are location-based, and with Breathable, it's effortless to acquire coordinates for any region by utilizing the device's current position or manually selecting a spot on the global map. Furthermore, users can conduct searches based on postal codes, place names, or specific addresses. It's important to note that the coordinates are strictly utilized for requesting AQI data and are never shared with Karbon or any other external parties.

Personalize how your widgets appear by modifying fonts, displaying or concealing specific details, or utilizing Breathable's Emoji Scale to provide a more visually appealing representation of the ambient air quality. Users can customize the Emoji Scale using predesigned sets or opt to assign their distinct emoji to each graded value.

To get started, simply create your complimentary API account, input your location details, configure your widget settings, and integrate it onto your preferred device. Optionally, synchronize your API keys with iCloud to streamline the one-time API setup process across all connected devices.
